2023-24 President's Message
Dear Members,
It is with great honour and a deep sense of responsibility that I step into the role of President for Kannada Sangha Queensland for the second time. Having had the privilege of serving as Secretary for a year, I've witnessed firsthand the strength of our community and the dedication of its members.
My passion for connecting with people and bringing new members into our fold has only grown over time. It’s incredibly fulfilling to assist newcomers in finding their place within our vibrant community, ensuring they feel welcome and supported. Our Sangha isn’t just an organization; it’s a family that has thrived for 29 years, thanks to the wisdom and guidance of our elders who laid its foundation back in 1995.
As I take on this role once again, I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported me during my first term and encouraged me to lead for a second. I am committed to honoring the legacy of those who have led before me, while also bringing fresh energy and ideas to ensure our Sangha continues to flourish for generations to come.
Together, let’s continue to build a strong, inclusive, and dynamic community that we can all be proud of.
KSQ Membership Details
Becoming a Kannada Sangha member brings in a sense of belonging and has various benefits. One of the most important one being able to connect with other Kannadigas and partake in celebrating some of our cultural festivities. Kannada Sangha Queensland is a not for profit organisation and the membership is purely to be able to provide the best opportunities of celebration for our members.
