2023-24 President's Message
It is my immense pleasure to serve Kannada Sangha Queensland (KSQ) as the 28th President for the year 2023-24 and also the youngest president in Kannada Sangha History. By profession, I am a Microbiologist graduated from Griffith University in 2017. I have served KSQ as Secretary of Team SriGandha in 2022-23. My interests to be part of KSQ rooted from my father who was the past President of KSQ in 2015.
It is my vision to make Kannada Sangha to be the platform to provide an opportunity for youngsters and newcomers to promote their ideas of conserving and spreading the language, especially for kids born and brought up in Australia.
Out of 44 Indian organization registered under Federation of Indian Communities Queensland (FICQ), KSQ is the only organization to have an all-women committee twice in past 10 years. I am proud to be part of this association where the founders, members, seniors and every single individual who is/was part of KSQ for 28 years gave priority to encourage youngsters, gave opportunity to building new ideas and innovations.
If you're a passionate Kannadiga join KSQ today. Our committee consists of 6 members who come with great enthusiasm to serve the community.
Please watch out our Facebook and Instagram for more updates.
KSQ acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are living. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and the Aboriginal Elders of other communities.
